Donkey Kong Country 2 is famous for a game breaking glitch at Castle Crush which has a hidden glitch that can be performed by having Diddy Kong pick up the barrel, run to the left wall, drop the barrel and then pick it right up and Diddy will have nothing in his hands, if he throws the invisible barrel, a glitch will trigger causing the barrel to appear and the game will freeze, or cause the sprites to glitch up and corrupt the file. this caused the save files to get deleted, this glitch will make the game unbeatable.
3. in the original Super Nintendo version in the level “Ghostly Grove”, the beams of light that flash across the screen have images of skulls and Donkey Kong’s face in them
